Someone has just informed me that the final "season" of the television program "Lost" will begin on the second day of February, in the year 2010. I do hope that some of you will join me for a viewing in the Science Faculty dormitory lounge.
As someone who has traveled through time, I am most interested to see whether or not the show supports the idea that time -- or "fate," if you will -- can be altered by mankind's free will. It is a subject upon which I frequently ponder. Perhaps there is no significance to the fact that Sandals Jolly, Willa Marsh, Dominqiue Deville, the rather obnoxious Asian man, and other individuals were transported in time to The Fortress, thus bringing me back with them in time when they made their departure. Alternativey, perhaps there was, in fact, some higher reason for this incident. Perhaps I have, as Jack Shephard finally comes to believe that he does, a "purpose." Could it be that my purpose is to alter the destiny of this world, thus negating the apocalyptic scenario that occurs in the years preceding my birth?
It is a topic which undoubtedly requires further reflection.

I apologize for this morning's disturbance. Though I did indeed suspect that the woman had nefarious goals in mind, she was nonetheless very sexually talented. I enjoyed myself before she attempted to end my life.

Many of you seem to be very upset. I have no loved ones so I do not understand the loss that you are feeling, but I assure you that these quests are well within our capability to complete. Once we have finished them, I have full confidence that we can defeat our enemies. In every work of literature I have read, this is always the case. Additionally, I have no memory of reading about an organization named "VILLAIN" in my history books, so it is unlikely that they succeed in fulfilling their task of creating a new world order. I am a very attentive reader.

I was watching the "news" programming on my television, as I enjoying doing every day at midday, and they reported on a man that was shot with a gun until he died. While this was not altogether interesting news, the man shared the surname of my good friend, Tibby Bradley, with whom I attended the formal dance! Is that not interesting?
Such coincidences make me realize the advantages of the numerical identification system which we used in the days of my youth. The fact that many people here share similar names can be quite confusing.

It is my understanding that this month, I am socially required to purchase gifts for my peers. Any guidance in the area of "Christmas" would be very much appreciated. Specifically, I have the following questions:
- How do I determine which friends to present with gifts?
- What is an acceptable "Christmas gift?"
- Are these gifts normally presented on the 25th of December, or is it acceptable to present them on an earlier or later date?
- Is "Santa Claus" a real or fictional being?
I am very thankful for the "scholarship" funds which have been awarded to me by the Evil League of Evil. Without these funds, I would not be able to purchase these gifts.

The sport known as skiing is more difficult than it appears.
I seem to hurt in many places. I have not felt pain such as this in some time.
I must also report that I quite enjoy "hot chocolate."
Additionally, I believe that there was just some sort of snow demon which appeared in my window. Does anyone know if such demons present any real danger? I am quite comfortable and do not wish to leave this cabin to slay it, unless absolutely necessary.

Hello, friends. Beatrix Bloxam and I are planning to go "skiing" in the Sierra Nevada Mountains this weekend, following the holiday known as "Thanksgiving." Although she is handling the invitations, she asked that I invite any of my friends who were not on her own list. I enjoy the company of everyone on this list, and would like each of you to know that you are welcome to join us in "Lake Tahoe" for the upcoming weekend.
There will be snow.
Zoe West and Zac Daly, I have invited the two of you, even though you are criminals. Please refrain from stealing anything while we are on the "vacation," as I believe that Beatrix Bloxam would be thoroughly upset to find that our time was interrupted by physical altercations.

I would like to learn more about the practice of "carving pumpkins." I have looked up images of these "jackolanterns" on the Google, and I still fail to understand the desire to turn something edible into a decorative lantern. After all, Neopolis is not running short on electricity.

On Tuesday, I must admit that I was slightly disappointed in several members of the student body. Many of you do not have the defensive skills necessary to save your life in combat scenarios. Though spellwork and gadgets are helpful indeed, quick reflexes and physical training are imperative if you expect to survive all of life's unexpected obstacles.
I already assist Sandals Jolly in this area, and with training, his fighting skills have improved greatly. I suggest that other students at Neopolis Academy do the same.

If anyone is currently unsafe, I recommend an attempt to join those of us in the Gothic dormitories. We have barricaded the entrances, however, those of you who can prove to us that you have not been bitten will be allowed safe passage.
Dominique Deville, Claire Caulfield, and Molly James, I must say that fighting alongside of the three of you is an absolute pleasure. I do fear, however, that we will soon need to deal with the problems presented by the infected Professor Rhodes. If anyone has suggestions for ways in which we can combat the Professor while she is in her diamond form, it would be most appreciated.
